Clinics

The aim of the clinics are;

• Ensure they have as much fun as possible
• Teaching the game of golf to our cadets
• Preparing them for future membership of Bonnie Doon Golf Club

Teaching

We break up the game into the following components and teach all aspects

• Chipping
• Pitching
• Bunker play
• Putting
• Full swing
• Rules
• Etiquette

Trained professionals conduct the clinics providing expert tuition to the cadets.

Enjoyment

Variety

We use different areas of the practice facilities which we believe adds variety and we also try and play on the course as much as possible.

Membership

Junior Membership

Our main aim of the program is for as many of our cadets to join the Club as Junior members as soon as they are able. We are not looking for elite players but rather keen and enthusiastic members of the Club. We see the cadets as an important part of the future of the Club and this is why we are so enthusiastic with the ability for Cadets to go onto represent the Club in future years.

Typically membership is available at 14 years of age with special consideration given to exceptional golfers aged less than 14 years of age.

Equipment

All Thats Needed Is Available

We do supply golf clubs/ equipment but it is recommended that in the future a set of clubs are purchased to fit their size and ability. This fitting can be provided during the clinics if requested. Discounted equipment is offered to those booked in the clinics.

Costs & Time

The cost for a 10 week term is $150

Clinics are held Sundays afternoon

• Junior Cadets aged 6 to 9: 1.30pm to 2.30pm
• Junior Cadets aged 10 to 15: 3.00pm to 4.30pm

Individual lessons with Professionals are at a reduced rate $35 per half hour (normally $55).
